Gugulethu Mbatha (better known by the name Gugu-Mbatha Raw) is an British actor and film actress who became famous when she was a part of the BBC show "Doctor Who", the British sci-fi TV show. Gugu became famous for playing Tish Jones in the BBC series. The character was twin sister of a character who was named Martha Jones. Handler grew up in the family of a Reform Judaism family. Her father was Jewish. Handler was blessed with a joyful and healthy growing up in an affluent community. As she entered her twenties she moved in Los Angeles in order to pursue acting. Handler became an actress to assist her. Handler started doing stand-up comedian full-time when she turned 21. She realized she was gifted with telling stories. Handler made her debut on her role on the Oxygen Network's Girls Behaving Badly, a reality show with the use of a hidden camera/practical comedy.
