Julianne Moore

Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne is a Hollywood actor, writer and bestselling novelist. Her talent has earned her international recognition. She's the daughter of a Sagittarius born on December 3 1960, in North Carolina. She is the oldest child of Peter Moore Smith a paratrooper as well as Anne, a psychology student. The Moore family is English, Scottish and of mixed descent. Moore's father was a mover a lot because of his work. It was hard for her to find or keep friends. When her family moved to Germany Moore was a student at Frankfurt American High School where she was first a part of performances. She continued her studies through Boston University, graduating in 1983 with a B.F.A. A thesis on Theater. Moore's professional career started at New York with Off-Broadway Theater after graduating. She made her screen debut in 1985 with an episode from The Edge of Night. In 1986 she was given the dual characters of Sabrina Hughes, and Frannie Hughes on the show As the World Spins. It was this role that gave her the opportunity to break through and led to her achievement. She was on the show until 1988, when she received the Daytime Emmy Award. She made her film debut in the year 1990, with Tales from the Darkside: The Movie, which was later described by her as an awful low-budget film. Short Cuts (1997) and 3 Women (1993), each Robert Altman productions, were her first film. The former was critically acclaimed and earned her a number of nominations for the film. Moore was the first actress to get a major performance in Safe in 1995, a movie. Steven Spielberg chose Moore to be the main character role in Jurassic Park: The Lost World. The movie was one of the most popular movies released that year. She starred in Magnolia (1999), which was praised by critics and earned a SAG nomination for her performance. In 2002, she starred alongside her co-stars in The Hours which got nominated for nine Academy Awards with Nicole Kidman and Meryl Streep. Moore was also in The Forgotten 2004, Freedomland, Shelter and Shelter 2010. Non-Stop the film in which she appeared in 2014 was released. Moore was a regular in countless movies and television shows. Most recently, she was in prominent roles was In 2022, When You Finish Securing the World. Her career has been established in Hollywood as well as being a successful children's book author. She published her first book in 2007 Freckleface Strawberry, which became a New York Times bestseller. The book became a best selling book, then transformed into a television show as well as musical. Moore also wrote her memoir My Mom is a Foreigner in 2013. Moore lives a flamboyant life as an accomplished actress and novelist. Moore married John Robin back in 1984, and the couple divorced in 1996. Bart Freundlich and Moore had two kids together. Moore's entire life revolves around her friends from the family and work.
